That’s why we at Björk Haircare want to engage the entire hairdressing industry in the fight against cancer by working closely with salons, to contribute to increased knowledge, understanding, and the opportunity to make a difference together.
Behind the campaign message “For every strand of hair – for every individual” lies an important insight: hair plays a central role in identity, confidence, and recovery. For many affected by cancer, hair becomes a symbol of both loss and hope. This makes our industry uniquely placed to show care and solidarity – in the salon, at home, and in everyday routines.
Here’s how we can contribute together:
- During the campaign period, September 22 – October 31, 25% of sales from selected Björk Haircare products will be donated to the Swedish Cancer Society.
- We encourage salons to start their own fundraising initiatives, where the first 70 to join will receive our Pink Package with merch to promote their salon during the campaign period.
- Thanks to our partnership with the digital salon platform Voady, can we reach thousands of salons across Sweden – a unique opportunity for the industry to make a real difference.
But the campaign is not only about fundraising – it’s also about knowledge and awareness. At Björk Haircare, we want to remind consumers that even everyday moments can make a difference.
“We want to show that something as simple as a moment in the shower can help. When your hands are already there – at your scalp and skin – they can also check around the breasts.
